Giuseppe Zanotti Design has always been a symbol of Italian craftsmanship—synonymous with a keen attention to detail, a conscious selection of materials and products with impeccable design.
To guarantee the authenticity of our products, we have begun working with Certilogo® Technology, the leading brand-authentication system.
Inside of every piece of Giuseppe Zanotti Design footwear is a black card. On the back is a unique 12-digit CLG code.
Verifying the authenticity of our product is easy:
Thank you for choosing Giuseppe Zanotti Design.
No, only footwear is protected by a Certilogo Code.
A "Certilogo Code" or "CLG Code" is an identification code used to protect products belonging to brands that have chosen Certilogo's brand protection solution to fight counterfeiters. It is a "human readable" code, meaning that it is clearly legible, consisting of 12 characters and usually preceded by the acronym "CLG". Example: CLG 012 345 678 901, or, in some cases, 012 345 678 901.
All you have to do is go to the homepage on the https://certilogo.com website and enter the Certilogo Code into the Authenticator. You will be asked a few simple questions, after which you will be told whether or not your product is authentic.
If pertaining to footwear, this means that the product is fake, unless it were made before the Certilogo tagging programme began. Please contact our Customer Service to further clarify the matter.
Request a Fake Report at the end of the authentication process. You can use this document to request a refund from the retailer who sold you the fake product (brick-and-mortar or online shop) or from the entity that processed your payment (e.g. the credit card company). Although regulations concerning product returns vary, usually you will need to return the product to the seller in its original packaging with its receipt.
The Authenticator is extremely reliable. If the information that you provided is complete and accurate and you acted in accordance with our Terms & Conditions (see "Abuse and Misuse of Service") then the product you are authenticating is fake. Please accept our apologies. If you believe that you accidentally provided incomplete or incorrect information, please try again, paying careful attention to the information that you enter.
No, the codes are unique and cannot be repeated.
Yes, but this is what we call a "cloned code". Consumers that encounter a cloned code will be alerted to the fact that the product they are authenticating is fake.
